A bit of country in the middle of the city.
Madison Square Park, just two blocks south of The Madison Belvedere, was rededicated in 2001 after major renovation. With its many seating areas, this gem of a park is the ideal relaxing, reading, snacking, snoozing and schmoozing place. Statuary, fountains, and weekly summertime concerts add to its old world charm. Beneath a canopy of century-old trees, the many benches in and around the park provide great views of such architectural landmarks as the Flatiron Building and Metropolitan Life Clock Tower. |
